Fifty & Fabulous!

A 50th Birthday Party Hollywood Glam Style!

A 50th Birthday is one of those milestone birthdays that deserves an extra special celebration!  So when my friend Nikelle asked me to style and design her 50th birthday, making sure to include a glamorous dessert table, I was thrilled and honored and couldn't wait to get started!

We ultimately decided on an Old Hollywood Glam theme.  The color palette we chose was a classy combo of black and white, glittery gold and beautiful pops of red.
Like always, I started with the invitation design as this will set the tone for the overall feel of the party and decor as well as getting the guests exited for what's to come!  For this particular party, we asked all the guests to come dressed in their best Old Hollywood Glam style!

The dessert table was certainly a show stopper from it's gorgeous tissue flower backdrop to it's delectable array of beautifully designed desserts.

The lovely gold glitter votive candles from Kate Aspen as well as the fabulous glittery gold cake topper from Sugar Parties LA added the perfect amount of glamour and sparkle to the display.

The dessert table was filled with a wonderful collection of scrumptious desserts including beautifully decorated sugar cookies, chocolate covered strawberries and Oreos, yummy macrons, and finally the centerpiece of the table, a semi-naked cake dripping with the most decadently delicious chocolate ganache.

Designing and styling the dessert tables is by far one of my favorite parts of designing a party.  But, no 50th birthday party would be complete without the addition of a fabulous photo op backdrop complete with a super fun collection of photo props from The Party Kit Shop!
All the guests had a blast snapping fun party pics and dancing the night away!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you found some glamorous inspiration to use at your next party!
