A St. Paddy's Day Party for the littles

Let's paint the town green!

It's March ya'll, which means it's time for shenanigans o'plenty!

The theme we chose this year was "Paint the town green!"  I wanted to add a super fun activity to pair with this festive St. Paddy's Day Party . . . can you guess what it is?

I'll give you a hint . . .  It involves PAINTING!  Scroll down for all the cuteness!

First things first . . . how cute is this invite?  Simple & oh so sweet!

I wanted the backdrop for this party to be loaded with all different hues of green.  This fun tablecloth fringe garland certainly did the trick.  A pop of white atop the garland finished the look beautifully!

 Let's talk tabletop . . .

I absolutely adore these gold rimmed plates from EID Creations.  Simple and classy!  Layer them up and add the cutest little rainbow place cards atop!  A couple festive napkins topped with my favorite flatware from Sophistiplate and finally a sparkly gold cup filled with the cutest acrylic accessories from AtomicKraftWorks completes the look!

details, details, details

A party isn't a party without the perfect party favor!  How sweet is this "lil box o'rainbows".  These clear boxes from Oriental Trading are my favorite goto when it comes to favor boxes.  Filled with mini marshmallows and rainbow sour belts for the win!

Finally, the piece de resistance, . . . the gorgeous rainbow themed florals adorning the center of the table.  They turned out exactly how I imagined!

love, love, love!

 Now for some fun!

Chocolate Pinata Bears seem to be all the rage, . . . so of course, we had to try it! lol        My friend Fionna and I created this adorable collection of St. Paddy's bears, complete with little green bow ties and filled with a smattering of rainbow fun!  The kiddos could not wait to get their hands on those little wooden hammers! lol  Definitely need to do this one again!

I rarely have a party without featuring a cake, . . . and this one was no exception.  AtomicKraftWorks knocked it out of the park with this magical rainbow topper!

It's all in the deets and this one was a fabulous one!

Now, here is where the painting comes in.  I came across this darling and very sweet activity while scrolling Pinterest.  #thekindnessrocksproject

Basically, paint a rock (in our case, St. Paddy's Day themed), add some inspiration, write the hashtag on the back, and hide the rock outside somewhere like a park or playground for someone to find.  It will for sure add a smile to someones face and encourage them to do the same perhaps.  A combo of kindness and fun.  I love it!

We couldn't end this post without mentioning how cute these two are!  They definitely had a blast smashing and painting the day away!

Hope you loved this party as much as we did!
