GNO Party!

Let's Hang Out...Just Because!

Let's have a GNO party, just because!  You don't need a holiday for a reason to get together with your favorite gal pals. Throw an impromptu Girls Night Out Party just because!
Now I tend to go a bit overboard when it comes to designing a party but you can keep your design as simple or as over the top as you like!

I decided on an eclectic modern theme with gold geometric shapes and pops of bright colors throughout.
I wanted to keep this party lovely but at the same time have a casual, laid back kinda vibe, so I kept the table low to the ground and used fun throw pillows for seating.

For the tablescape, I started with a pretty white on white quilted table runner and placed a collection of geometric terrarium vases filled with the most gorgeous
blooms down the center. I'm a sucker for pretty flowers!

For the place settings, I layered a gold charger, a lovely white plate detailed with a geometric pattern around the rim, a scalloped Chinoiserie patterned dessert plate, a fuchsia napkin tied in a simple knot and finally, a neatly placed leaf bearing each guests name in gold sat next to the napkin.  The leaf place card is such a simple detail that adds such elegance to any tablescape.

No GNO party is complete without a yummy cocktail or two!  I chose a Raspberry Sorbet Mimosa! YUMMY!! This cocktail is super easy to make and everyone will love it!

INGREDIENTS:

1 bottle Rose Champagne/sparkling wine

1 pint Raspberry Sorbet

Fresh Raspberries and Mint for garnish

Place a scoop of sorbet in a glass, top with champagne and garnish!

For the dessert bar, I hung a large geometric shaped wreath above a modern white cabinet and placed upon it a gorgeous drip cake, beautiful floral cookies and a fun "Bouquet Bar".

I cannot have a party without always sending my guests home with a favor.
The "Bouquet Bar" is an interactive alternative to a typical party favor. Simply set up a station with 4-6 different types of flower bouquets in various vases. As your guests are getting ready to leave, let them create their own customized bouquet of flowers! Neatly wrap it up in some pretty wrapping paper, tie a piece of twine or ribbon around it and wah-lah....a customized flower bouquet favor!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you found plenty of inspo to use for your next GNO party...JUST BECAUSE!!!

  1. Party is very cool idea to hang out and the GNO party concept is very interesting to me. But, I have some good memories about the murder mystery party. That, is totally enjoyable each and every time. Here is some murder mystery kits that will help you to know more about this party.

  2. Frequently portrayed as a surprisingly realistic form of the game Clue!, this is a themed supper, with a puzzling homicide at the focal point of the story. Participants should cooperate to sort out "who done it." Murder Mystery Dinner Game
