"Kiss ME" A St. Patrick's Day Party!

Everyone has been telling me for years that I should do something with my love for parties so I decided to start this blog! So here goes nothing......My very FIRST POST! Yeah!!

I had lots of fun designing and styling this super fun "Kiss ME" themed St. Patrick's Day Party.       I LOVE bright pink lipstick and because of that I am always leaving lipstick marks on my kiddos cheeks. That "Kiss" mark inspired the graphics and hence the theme for this party! There was a couple super fun and easy DIY projects that can be incorporated into any party like the huge round "Kiss" sign and the burlap "Kiss Me" banner. The backdrop was a fabulous shower curtain I found in my travels through one of my favorite stores...HomeGoods.  For the "Kiss" sign, I just used an old hula hoop I had found in the garage and I cut 10"x 3" strips of sparkly tulle and just simply tied them all the way around. Then I had a poster size print made of the "Kiss" and just cut it into a circle and attached to the back of the hoop! Super fun and easy!
I decided to personally take on the task along with my girls to make all the fun and tasty treats. We made cake pops, green snicker doodle white chip cookies, regular and mini cupcakes with colorful sprinkles around the edges and little banana pudding parfaits!  For a beverage I filled these really cute glass dairy bottles that I found at Michaels with green tinted milk!
For the table top I laid out a piece of burlap that I had along with some faux grass mats that I also had. I kept the plates and cake stands all white to keep a nice symmetry. For the banner that hung in front of the table I just hot glued some burlap to the back of the pieces and hot glued a ribbon along the top of all of them to connect everything. Super easy!
Finally, for the super cute favor boxes, I filled these fabulous gold glitter take out boxes (from Michaels) with gold Hershey Kisses!!
I absolutely LOVE photography so I decided to put my skills to the test and photograph the party as well.  All in all I think it turned out great!  My next step is to have my party printables available for purchase on Etsy !
I hope you enjoy it as much as myself and my kiddos did!
