Back to School BASH!

How to host a Back to School Party

I can't believe it's that time again.....Back to School time for the kiddos!  I don't know if I'm happy to get back to routines and structure or if I'm sad to let the care free days of summertime come to an end.  No matter what, it's here... so why not welcome it with a super fun Back to School Bash!

The inspiration for this party started when I came across these ridiculously adorable lunch box style boxes from Target's awesome dollarspot!  I mean.... how cute are these!

I then paired them up with as much turquoise, red and yellow party pizzazz that I could find!
The backdrop made a lovely statement and was a cinch to create.  I simply wrapped a large canvas with this fun yellow and white striped paper, then using ribbon, apple cutouts, black felt letters and some turquoise ribbon created the most darling garland.

The dessert table was super simple with just some sweet sugar cookies, an adorable apple cake and some yummy A+ punch! (aka-Koolaid)

My favorite DIY from the party would hands down have to be those precious "pencil" napkins! All it took to create these one of a kind napkins were some ribbon, yellow cloth napkins and a sewing machine.  Once the ribbon was all sewn on, I folded the napkins in half and rolled them into the most adorable little pencils!

Games are a must when trying to keep the kiddos entertained. I always like to incorporate either an activity or a couple games to keep the party exiting and fun!
For this party, I came across the cutest Back to School Bingo Game on Pinterest. It was a free download from crazylittleprojects.com  The kiddos loved it so much, they never wanted the game to end!

They also had a blast coloring and playing with the matching games I included in their little School bus favor boxes!

I hope you enjoyed this simple yet super fun BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH!
