A Lovely Design: Wild Thing Valentine Soiree

. . . you make my heart sing!!!

This Valentine's Day, why not get a little W I L D and host a darling Wild Thing Valentine Soiree!! I had such a blast styling this fabulous party.

As usual, I started by designing a lovely invite so the guests can anticipate the excitement that will follow! I chose a palette of hot pink, bright orange, tropical greens and white. I love adding in fun patterns and textures!

The heart shaped balloon backdrop with hot pink script was no doubt the focal point of this party. I popped in some tropical leaves to complete the wildly fun look!

I set the table low for a casual vibe and placed a selection of fluffy white fur throw pillows around for seating. I used a festive tropical palm leaf patterned fabric for the table runner and ran it down to the floor for added interest.

The plates were adorable pink melamine hearts topped with a sweet little personalized sugar cookie place holder. How fun is that?! What kid doesn't LOVE to eat their place holder!
To the left was a darling palm leaf napkin topped with rose gold flatware and in front sat a lovely little favor wrapped nice and tidy with beautiful bright orange silk ribbon! A giant palm leaf was used as a place mat and lastly, the glassware was a sweet little pink vintage glass garnished with a bamboo patterned straw and adorned with a hot pink heart detail.

The centerpiece was a darling cake decorated with some festive fun hot pink sprinkles, bright orange buttercream and topped with a fabulous topper that read, "You make my heart sing!"
