Mingle & Jingle Christmas Card Addressing Luncheon

Is it just me, or are you always frantically addressing your Christmas cards a couple days before Christmas along with the million other things you still need to get done?  This year I decided to take a little stress out of the Holiday season and invite some girlfriends over for a Mingle & Jingle Christmas Card Addressing Party!  A Ladie's Luncheon seemed perfect!  It could even take place during a weekday while all the kiddos are in school.  You can address your Christmas cards, laugh and chat, all while eating  yummy food and treats!  Sounds like a win, win for all!!

I absolutely LOVED how my Christmas cards from Shutterfly turned out so much that I decided to design the color scheme for the luncheon around them!  The bright pink, yellow, turquoise and gold along with subtle pops of  black and white made for a fresh and fun theme.

For the centerpiece of the table I came across the most adorable felt pine trees and darling pink and gold bottle brush trees at my local Target store....of course!  They always have the most darling decor for really any holiday.  I also got the unique wooden tree art there as well, which I attached to a plain white canvas and hung above the dessert table as the focal point for the party. Sweet and simple!

I kept the food and desserts fairly simple but still fabulously yummy!  I made a lovely charcuterie platter for the savory and served darling little macrons and a delicious buttercream covered chocolate cake for the sweet.  It was the perfect combination to snack on before diving in to the Christmas card addressing.

I love hand addressing Christmas cards versus having them printed.  It just gives that extra personalized touch as well as gives me a chance to  experiment with all different fonts, markers and pens.   But seriously, let's talk about these darling Christmas cards!  They have such a wide selection of cards to choose from.  I chose their NEW gate-fold card.

They have a wide variety of super lovely designs in the gate-fold card, but I ultimately decided to challenge myself this year and use their {Upload your own design option}.  Since designing invitations and printables is something I do anyways, it just allowed me to really customize the card to exactly what I wanted.   I love how many extra options they offer too, like custom envelope liners, custom envelopes, pearlized finishes on the card itself plus so many more!   I decided to make my life even easier this year and ordered the enveloped pre-printed with my return address. Usually I order custom return address stickers but this pre-printed option saves me that one extra step.  I'm all about time saving, especially around the holidays.

Now, who's ready to mingle and jingle with their girlfriends!

Happy Holidays!
