Boho Beach Bash

Boho Chic Beach Bash

Planning a teen party can be somewhat challenging.  There are many things to consider.  When I asked my daughter Bella what she wanted to do for her 15th, she replied, " I want a sunset beach party!"  I of course was thrilled!  I have been wanting to plan a beach party for sometime and this was the perfect opportunity to do it.  I just had to cross my fingers that the weather would cooperate!

The theme we ultimately decided on was a Boho Chic Beach Bash!  The color palette would be white, teal, orange, yellow, pink and green pastels with a touch of gold!
A destination celebration can be a little bit challenging, so a simple organized execution is the key!

For the table, I used a long white table top set atop a couple off-white storage containers and placed woven teal throws on either side with a collection of gorgeous pillows for guests to cozy up to.  I came across a beautiful water colored scarf which I used to drape across the top.  For the centerpiece I used multi leveled cake stands adored with gold ribbon and dip dyed tassels to display my gorgeous florals on.  Cake plates aren't just for displaying cakes on anymore! I love coming up with new and unusual ways of using them.

The place setting started with a gold polka dot charger, layered with a melamine plate detailed around the edge with a lovely blue and yellow pattern and a pink and white patterned napkin and gold silverware was neatly wrapped and placed to the right. For the place holder, I used the most darling little cupcake stands adorned them with a tie dyed gimp and placed a floral cupcake detailed with each guests name written in gold upon a delicate leaf. I love thinking outside the box for place cards!

For the dessert table, I used a cute little white desk topped with a woven pale orange throw and added a chic dip dyed macrame banner.
The centerpiece of the table was of course the semi naked pink ganache drip cake adorned with yummy macrons and finished with a glittery gold "15" and placed on top of the prettiest teal metal cake stand.

The table also boasted some floral cupcakes, festive sugar cookies, fixings for s'mores, of course, and finally neatly packaged little favor boxes containing a beautiful sugar cookie to take home!

The guests had a wonderful time eating, talking, laughing, and playing games all while watching the gorgeous sunset fade into the water.  It was absolutely perfect!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope this party inspires your next sunset beach bash!
